MULTI VEHICLE ACCIDENT SENDS ONE TO HOSPITAL

ORILLIA, ONTARIO – A multi-vehicle accident involving an Orillia Transit Bus sent one person to hospital Monday morning.
The incident happened around 10:30am, in front of McKinnell Park down on Memorial Avenue.
Police say the driver sustained injuries to the pelvis area, but injuries are not life-altering.
A witness on scene, who called 911, said that a grey ford blew a tire and came to a stop in the middle of the lane, at which point the Orillia Transit Bus which was behind the car swerved into another lane and hit the white car oncoming causing significant damage to the front of the white car.
The road is closed for the investigation. Reopening time is unknown.
