ORILLIA, ONTARIO – It was a chaotic night in downtown Orillia on Friday after an Ontario Provincial Police cruiser was set on fire while officers were responding to a stabbing call.
While details are scarce at the moment, Connor Earl Productions has learned that OPP were responding to a call for service regarding a stabbing at a house.
Multiple people were stabbed at the property and were taken to Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital for treatment.
It is unclear what led to the stabbing but unconfirmed social media reports state that the suspect also stabbed himself.
While officers were on scene, an OPP cruiser was set ablaze.
It is unclear how the fire started but Orillia Fire did attend the scene to extinguish the fire after failed attempts by officers with fire extinguishers on scene.
