Severn, on. – fire damages multiple residential units

SEVERN, ONTARIO – Severn Fire Department battled a multi-residential home late Tuesday evening.
Upon arrival, crews said that flames had fully engulfed one unit and were spreading to nearby units. A big challenge for firefighters was having to shuttle water in from a nearby water source using tanker trucks as no hydrants are located nearby.
There was one occupant in each home and both seniors made it out safe, no injuries were reported.
Police say they don’t believe the fire to be suspicious. Officials are currently investigating the cause and have yet to determine a damage cost.
